THE BAY ROBERTS CULTURAL FOUNDATION -
The Bay Roberts Cultural Foundation, with the support of the Bay Roberts Town Council, Canadian Heritage (Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage), and local businesses and individuals, is now involved with organizing and participating in events in 2016 and 2017. Here are photos from ongoing events.
JUNE 8 - The Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador, Memorial University Folklore Department, and the heritage and culture groups of Bay Roberts are working on a project to identify places that hold special meanings, stories, and memories in the different neighbourhoods of Bay Roberts. We’d love your help in making a list of possible places for university folklore students to research this September. Share your stories, knowledge, and memories with us! We’ll have the kettle on!

The Bay Roberts Cultural Foundation is working to build a badly needed Performing Arts Centre for the town. "Chase the Ace" has been a major fundraiser for this project.

"Finding Christmas-2015" An event to awaken your inner Christmas Spirit, featuring songs, stories and recitations of yesteryear. The site is found at Red Fisherman’s Shed next to Pender's Hill on the Shoreline Heritage Walking Trail. (Sponsors Tim Hortons, Dominion Supermarket, and Shoppers Drug Mart) The foundation charges $10 per person and the money is donated to a local charity.
